Hashem Mekki has more than 20 years of teaching experience in English and Arabic language starting with Sudan, Egypt, and the United States of America. Hashem Mekki is currently  professor of Arabic language & Middle East Arabic Media at the World Politics Institute since August 2012. Currently, Mr. Mekki is Subject Matter Expert teaching Arabic language and provide cultural trainings to federal employees & professionals at the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) at Department of Energy.

Social Activist

Hashem Mekki is a public speaker and human rights activist who has delivered speeches on high schools, university campuses, and Radio. Mr. Mekki also moderates events. He acted as Master of Ceremonies (MC) for a three hour event that was organized by Sudanese-American community members in the United Nations Plaza venue, New York City.  This event was sponsored and supported by the American Jewish World Service, New York Darfur Coalition, Humanity United, and Sudan Now.

As a translator Hashem runs the Bridge Language Solutions (BLS), which provides smart and strategic Arabic-English language services to individuals, private businesses, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), law firms, hospitals, clinics, and government agencies.
